Thanks for your interest in the Westfield Democratic Committee
If you are a high school student, there are numerous ways you can volunteer for the committee.
What does the Westfield Democratic Committee do?
The Westfield Democratic Committee is the local organization for Democrats in Westfield. We have 50 committee members, two from each of the 25 districts in the town's four wards. Committee members select the Democratic candidates to run for mayor and council and also have a voice in choosing candidates for other offices, including the state Legislature and U.S. Congress.
In addition, committee members volunteer their time on a variety of activities, including door-to-door canvassing and phone banking as well as working on a campaign for one of our local candidates. In 2025, we will have an election for mayor and four council seats in Westfield.
If you are taking Advanced Placement U.S. History and you need credit for an internship, fill out the form and we'll be back in touch. Even if you don't need credit, we encourage you to get involved and volunteer.
Most importantly, don't forget to register to vote as soon as you turn 18 and vote in 2025.
